  3. They are a food source for birds, bats, fish, amphibians and some reptiles.

  4. Certain Swallows feed on them. And like ant bites they actually improve your immune system

  5. whats the point of humans? do they even have a role in nature? it seems like every animal balances out the environment but do humans do anything besides kill each other and destroy the earth

also, mosquito larvae feed fish, are vital in the life cycle of the malaria parasite...

  6. They certainly do.  They provide food for birds and spiders and also carry disease which keeps large mammal populations under control.  It is difficult to say what would happen if we eradicated them, it's possible that the balance of nature would be relatively unchanged, but it's also possible that the shift could throw many things off balance.  Their absence might lead to an explosion in the population of other flying insects that fill a similar ecological niche.  It may lead to a reduction in spider populations which could cause other insect species, even ones that do not compete directly with mosquitoes, to explode.

  7. Birds! They feed thousands of birds!

  8. they're food to other animals.
