  1. yea it probably isn't enough money to buy much, but you can look at craig's list. because that's where my bro looked for his. and liek you can type in any type of car. <just be careful because some have a lot of miles on them> hope that helped. :P

  3. carmax deals with higher end vehicles, mostly $10,000 and up. auctions are generally not a good idea. I used to work in the used car business and learned that the auctions that are opened to the public have pretty bad cars. They get the cars that don't sell at the 'dealer' only auctions. After a couple of tries if the car doesn't sell at these dealer only auctions they go over to the public only auctions. The public not being as smart as dealers will end up buying them. They almost always have problems with them and you will end up paying about the same price as you might just buying off the street. The money you got will unfortunately not buy you much of a car. Only one with a lot of problems. I recommend you continue to save until you get at least 3, or 4,000 then you can get a nice used Honda or Toyota. Start educating yourself by looking around at your cities free publications and try to get someone you trust and who is into cars to help you make the deal and the final purchase so you don't get ripped off.

  4. From 0 to hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Who knows what you want or need.

1100 isn't even a good down payment much less enough to buy a late model trustworthy vehicle.

check out autotrader.com.  Beware of carmax.  Don't buy with out driving.

Get your family to keep an eye out.  They may know someone with an old dependable work car they don't use anymore.

  5. Used car prices vary depending on the make and model  and the year of the car. Many domestic cars lose their value faster then imported cars such as Honda's and Toyota's. If you are looking to spend only 1100 dollars on your first car then you will probably looking at cars from the late 80s and early 90s. If that is going to be your down payment then Carmax is a good place to look at.

  6. Go on craiglist and look for Honda Civics. They are a steal since they originally didn't cost that much in the 90s and they've depreciated just like any other car and best of all they are reliable and get unbeatable gas mileage.

  7. To be honest 1102 dollars is not enough money for a decent and reliable used car.

  8. It depends on the make and model of the car.  I have to be honest with you and tell you that $1100  isn't going to get you much.

  9. no

for a good car you'll need about $4,000 plus tax title and Lic.

and at least $200 a month for insurance and gasoline.

    for $4,000

    look for

98 Acura CL, 98 Ford Mustang V6, 98 Honda Accord or Civic, 98 Nissan Frontier or Pathfinder, 98 Subaru Impreza or Legacy, 98 -00 Toyota Corolla or Echo 00
