  1. They start of at 49.99.Thats at Walmart.Their just as nice, but I wouldn'tpay no more than 300 for one.

  2. You can get bands for probably 60 and up, depends on the thickness and width of the bands.

But you can also spend hundreds and thousands - just depends what you are after.

For 5 mm, looks like around 150 is the cheapest -

  3. Seriously go to Wal mart.  I got my wedding band there it was a female band, 2mm size 8 for $20!!

  4. We just got my Husbands to be wedding band at Helzburg Diamond here in Michigan. His ring was 6mm size 6 14K gold. It cost Us 265.

If you buy your ring from a place like Helzburgs, Kay, Tiffany's etc..Your paying for the NAME...Like Name brand verse Pawn shop..

Also My husband is From Russia and I would be VERY careful about what the Russia guy said. Wedding bands are cheaper in Russia however here in the USA, Company's like Helzburgs and Kay offers LIFETIME cleaning and gold plating if your ring was to ever get scratched.

  5. Might not be a ripoff.  What purity (K) are the rings, and what do they weigh?  Rose gold is typically an 18K alloy of 75% gold, 25% copper, very common in Russian and antique jewelry.

Rings are not a lump of gold, you pay extra for the work of art.  However, you should be aware of the gold value so you know what you are paying for the art.

    Gold value = (weight of ring in grams)  x (price of 24K gold/gram) x ("K" number) / 24

24K gold right now* (changes constantly) is worth $25.27 / gram.  If you do the math, you know how much the gold in the ring is worth.  The ring will never be worth less than the gold in it, but you can pay much more if you are willing.

  6. Gold costs, pal. Are you sure the Russian guy's stuff was not contraband, or fake? We paid £225 for a matching pair of bands. Do the math.
