I really think the world is going crazy. All these wars, even before, I was looking at comments on videos from Russians, and it was sort of disappointing at how brainwashed they were. Thinking they were freeing Georgia, and how they claimed the georgian tanks ran over women and children. Now I know I shouldn't be talking because of my Countries occupation of Iraq, But in all fairness I was against that war from the start.

I really think the world is going crazy. There is so much violence and hatred between all the people. This is not the world I grew up in.

So, what do you think?

  1. The problem with the world today? People still depend too much on the smarts of others - high technology - when they haven't mastered the technology they are born with between their ears.

People ought to receive a much more diverse education than they currently receive - and an education of a higher quality - throughout their entire lives. It's called life-long learning and you do it as a matter of daily living and struggle.

Instead, people today (especially in the west) are much more concerned with their entertainment, their comfort and wealth than with learning anything truly useful.

Impoverished people are the ones to look towards for hope - their poverty gives them so much more opportunity for education (hands-on) and real independent survival skills. A tough school, sure - but you have daily lessons and have every chance of succeeding if you only apply yourself.

  2. EVERYTHING!!

r world is eventually going to go suicidal if we dont do something about all these dumb people and c**p

  3. We've always had wars, its just with today's technology we get to hear about it quicker with up front video evidence. Sometimes that awareness by the peaceseeking countries brings pressure on those offenders and they get condemned enough to seek a truce.

  4. Well if we didn't fight i don't think America would be America. (Or shall i say countries wont be countries if we didn't fight.)  Because i know if you discovered a land and someone else tried to take it away from you- you'll fight also! Far as war i mean the soliders commited their lives for fighting for ours- thats there job and duty- if they weren't ready to handle that responsibility then they should never joined the service. I mean far as the sevice goes i always knw there was going to be violence within the service- thats history. But the violence we see on the streets is ridiculous. Its one thing if you are fighting for a purpose but some just kill and fight for no reason.

  5. It's a combination of alot of things.  It's probably all about power and greed.

  6. there were many more wars in the olden days tho...

i agree that the world has many problems, but not mostly in that area..
