A baby tooth to get pulled out? It's half lose but I have to get it pulled. Whats the process, and how long will it take? Need details please =)

They will numb the area and wait a few minutes for it to get fat feeling then the doctor will come in and use a special tool and just pop it out, then you will bite on a piece of gauze for a little while, maybey 10 minutes or so. If it is partially loose it will come out easy. Might be sore for a day or two, but the mouth heals faster than any other place on your body.  You can take a dose of Ibuprofen 1 hour before you go and it will help with any pain you might have when the tooth is out.

I was dental assistant for over 10 years and really the best thing you can do is stay calm.  If you get all worked up it raises your heart rate and that makes the shot work for less time, and less effective.  

You will be just fine.  This is an easy thing to do.

About a year ago I got my baby eye teeth pulled and the took a needle and gave me shots in the gums to numb it. then they put more numbing on it. Your lips feel huge. It will feel funny and tender for a few days.
