Whats the proper name for a 'Bird Watcher'

Hi there, I was just curious as to whats the proper name for a 'Bird Watcher'? If i'm correct, James bond uses this word in the film 'Die Another Day' when Halle Berry comes out from the water. Thanks everyone :D

In the US, many birdwatchers prefer to simply be called "birders".  Also when asked what their hobbies are they will say they like to go "birding" rather than bird watching.  "Twitcher" is a term used in the UK to describe bird watchers, and ornithologists are people that study birds as a career.

In the states most serious bird watchers call themselves birders.  In the UK birders are called "twitchers". Ornithologists are professionals with degrees.

I am a Bird Watcher and that is the correct term,

I only watch for birds in the areas that I visit.

A Twitcher is one that moves around the country at the first announcement of a new bird in the area.or the country,
