  1. try COPPERTONE FACES its a sunblock made for faces and it is oil free and non comedegenic.  I never break out using it and it moisterizes and protects my skin with 30 spf!  the best thing out there! i use it under my foundation.

  2. Exfoliate! You need to get rid of all the dead skin cells on the top layer of your skin. Thats what usually causes the flaky make up. Use a mask or a cleanser that has little beads in it or something that can scrub the face. Then always finish with a moisturizer. our face should be smooth and read for your foundation.

I'd say it'd be best to go to Sephora and get a free make over and ask a lot about which types of foundation would be best for your skin like, liquid, pressed powder or loose powder.

  3. I love make-up from Two Face that I got from Sephora, there are alot of good make-up brands out there, BUT it will not look the same if you do not take care of your skin. Make sure to wash your face, exfoliate, mosturize and try not to wear make-up all the time, only when you really need it. :)

  4. use a foundation primer. i have one from smashbox that i got at sephora. they have some in the drugstores though too.

so first you apply creme to your washed face let it sink in for about 3 minutes then apply the primer let that sit for 3 minutes and then apply your concealer if you ise it then your foundation.

i cant wear make up with out my primer b/c i always look flaky without it

  5. when applying concealer to a raised spot put the concealer under the bump so you don't have a shadow. apply liquid fooundation with a foundation brush and blend, blend ,blend .apply concealer w/ a wedge. make sure you clean your brushes once a week and throw away make-up every 6 months.use eucerin green tint moisturizer if you have redness

  7. I mix my moisturizer with my foundation, it works really well. It looks more natural, doesn't run or get flaky, and works better than a tinted moisturizer. Actually, if you're using a powder foundation (I don't know what kind either of the brands you said are), you want to switch to a liquid. Powders make your face look really flaky if you have dead/dry skin on your face. You can also try using a scrub once or twice a week to get rid of the dead skin cells that are probably causing the flakiness.

  8. apply moisturizer to entire face wait like 5 or 10 minutes so it can settle in on your face then apply your foundation and not too much,

but you could also use a concealer to put on your red marks.

    hope this helps.
