  1. You can take the M4 almost all the way to Pembroke and take the ferry from there to Rosslare. There is no need for a passport for your dog travelling from the U.K. The only other alternative is to drive to Holyhead and take the ferry to Dun Laoire or Dublin.

  2. No such place as Southern Ireland, the name is the Republic of Ireland.

    Your dog requires a passport, if he doesn't have one, forget about bringing him.

    I think there's a ferry to Rosslare, from Pembroke or Fishguard.

  3. Depends on what you mean by southern Ireland, if it's south of the Northern border we call it the Republic of Ireland or just Ireland, we don't call it southern Ireland, we would consider southern Ireland to be counties like Cork,Kerry, Waterford etc., if your going there you can get a feery from Pembrick to Rosslare (Co.Wexford), if your goin to Dublin you can get a ferry from Holyhead,either way it's goin'na be a long drive for you

  4. here are your options;

    Fishguard-Rosslare

    Pembroke-Rosslare

    Holyhead-Dublin

    Holyhead-Dun Laoighre

    I'm not sure about now but there used to be a ferry from Swansea to Cork. Hope this helps.
