  1. put a dehumidifier in her room whilst she sleeps.

a little Vick's under her nose

also, while she is sleeping use a aspirator to remove all the boogers.

  2. Get some saline nose drops, that always works. And also some decongestion for the nose. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

  3. My 4 month old's doc suggested spraying saline solution (Ayr nasuel spray) into his nose and it is working great....on his nose.

  4. I use saline drops and put a vapouriser on in the room. The vapouriser helps a lot. You can also get room sprays too.

  5. They sell something in the medicine isle at Walmart or any store like that  called Little Noses.  It's near all the adult nose sprays and cold medicine.  It's just saline drops and you put one or two in her nose and wait a few minutes. It loosens everything up and most of the time my baby snufs them out herself  but they are much easier to get with the booger sucker after that. They even sell one that comes with it if you don't have one. My Baby is also 7 months and she has always had a stuffy nose since she's been born and they worked great

  6. I agree with going in the bathroom with hot water.  My daughter has problems with bronchitis and was onced told to go in the bathroom and then lay her on her side over my lap and gently but firmly rub her side.  It helps loosen up all the phlem.  Good luck and I hope your little one starts feeling better soon.

  7. DON'T DO HUMIDIFIERS OR STEAM! you'll make her congested and can give her pneumonia and otherbronchial/lung illnesses. just wait it out is all you can do.

Vaporizors with Vics vaporizer drops are okay too.

  8. I use this stuff called Medised with mine, you can buy it over the counter at a pharmacy, I find it brilliant, it helps clear up a stuffy nose, and aids restful sleep.

  9. Well, Tylenol won't help much because it's a pain reliever.  I recommend saline drops in the nose, and then putting her in a swing, seat or exersaucer in the bathroom with the shower running on hot.  The steam will help loosen everything up, and it will come right out.  All you'll have to do is wipe her nose off.  My doctor used to tell me to put saline in my daughter's nose, and then use the aspirator, but that would get her so riled up.  I found that it was much easier just laying her down and putting drops in, letting them get in there for a sec, and then keep her elevated.  She preferred me wiping her face off periodically over my sticking something up her nose and sucking it out.

Also, take a small pillow and put it under her crib mattress at the head of the bed.  That way when she sleeps she's slightly elevated.  If you have a humidifier I suggest putting that in her room too.

    Good luck!

  10. steam up the bathroom and give her a bath, works like magic!

  11. Take her into the bathroom and turn the shower on HOT. Sit in the room for about 20-30 mins, It will start to clear out the nostrils and if you have a snot sucker you can then use it after.

  12. Put a humidifier in her room while she sleeps.

  13. The shower trick helps.

Also try Vicks babyRub and use a vicks vaporizer. Elevating her mattress so her head is raised helps to drain her stuffy nose. (A large towel under the mattress does the trick) Also, use saline drops and gently use a bulb syringe to help clear out her nose. Put the drops in and use the syringe. All of this helps a little. I did all the above with my daugher. No cure but it helps then be a little more comfortable.

  14. saline drops
