1 move.  trick them into looking the other way and then knock over the other players king.

The fastest possible mate is 2 moves. It's called "Fool's mate" because it takes some bad moves by white to make it happen. The moves are 1.g4 e5 2. f3 Qh4 checkmate.

Quickest way to force it is the Scholar's  Mate in 4 moves.

If White is a fool he might walk into the fools mate in 2 moves.
