Whats the requirement of language need for Japan with the cci-exchange?

I was looking at cci-exchange for becoming a foreign exchange program. What are the requirements of Japanese language do you need to be eligible to become a foreign exchange student in Japan?

It depends on the program you're using. at intraxstudyabroad.com/japan, if you go for a semster, you need 6 months of Japanese. If you go for an academic year, you need a year of Japanese. If you go on their summer program, you don't need any Japanese!
