Whats the safest way to locate a room mate ?

My daughter is looking for a room mate type situation but we don't know where to start or even what to place in an ad . Any suggestions?

do as muck research as yo can , call anyone that knows them and does not like them they will tell you all you want to know

i would suggest having applicants fill out an application and then do a background check on them if your that concerned!

I would say do a criminal background check and a credit check and charge the fee to the potential roomate!
