Unfortunately special ed paraprofessionals don't get paid enough for all they do!  Typically, it is an hourly salary between $11-$14 an hour for a 1-to-1 aide.  If you are an "educational" aide, usually in a resource classroom setting where you are working with several students, you will be paid more, ususally $17-$19 an hour.

The great thing is, through the school you can get health benefits.
