  1. Buy a piece of land and plant some trees on it.

  2. they can live a cleaner life and then tell others about it so as to spread the word.

  3. Get away from the car and walk or use a bicycle.

Remove the gas guzzlers   from our roads.

  4. Make sure that you recycle, car share to work or if you want to really help, walk to work or bike. Kill a few cows, and don't have children cos there are too many people in the world at the moment and not enough resources.

  5. i suppose, one of the easiest ways are like using energy efficient light bulbs, lower the temperature on your washing machine, small things like that but there are other things also which may cost a lot to implement. for example, buying a hybrid car, solar panels and stuff like that.

of course there are many ways in which to help, just too many to write down so thats all i could think of.

    hope it helps =)

  6. If they stopped firing weapons off every 2 sec's then that would help alot i read somewhere that war weapons produce SO much pollution.

  7. recycle, use less power, and energy saving lightbulbs

  8. There really isn't much that an individual can do acting by himself.  I myself have changed from incandescent light bulbs to fluorescent ones.

    Harleigh Kyson Jr.

  9. Nothing. Change will only come when the destruction and damage become an immediate threat.  Government and big business do not have any incentive to change, therefore it will not change.  Individuals will not make any difference by planting trees or buying electric cars. That is just marketing strategy for big business.  Governments want you to think you can make a difference so they can keep your attention off what really matters in the world right now....corruption, greed, world domination.

Just live your life as best you can and enjoy it while you can.

  10. The best way to battle climate change is for all of the people in the world living the way we do to take off our clothes and return to the forests.  That's what nobody wants to believe, but it's the truth.

  11. Have a open mind.

  12. very simple! you should limit your luxury and live with nature all problem's of world are solve out.first you change wold follow you because you are walk in right way world follow by you.

  13. I agree with Strappin, not necessarily the killing bit, but over population is certainly at the heart of the matter. The Chinese weren't far wrong when they restricted families to one child.

There have been many mass extinctions throughout Earth's history, perhaps Man is destined to become one of them. Do we collectively deserve to exist forever? What makes us think we're so special in this vast, violent universe.

    Sorry...... I'm just rambling now.

  14. Cycle to work. The biggest contributor to your carbon footprint (and not to mention drain on your bank balance) that you can control is your car (providing you have one). Not only that but, it's a lot healthier and a great way to stay in shape.

  15. bomb china or japan.

  16. No need, according to the Met Office web site, the global average temperature fell in January and global cooling is now a real possibility. So may be Robber Brown will take off the, so called, green taxes.

  17. Go green as much as you can!

  18. Dont eat so many curries.

  19. Die.  Then you won't breathe and emit CO2.  Also takes your carbon footprint to zero.  Best of all, sensible people won't have to put up with your silly hysterics about GW anymore.

Climate change will occur no matter what you do. You might as well try to stop the tides or earthquakes and volcanoes.

  20. Absolutely nothing. CO2 is 0.003% of the atmosphere, humans contribute to less than 1% of that, so how can cutting back on a tiny amount of a tiny amount make any difference?

  21. Global climate is a dynamic process and as such is always in a state of change, with or with humans. The idea that we can stop climate change is simply nonsense, as it is a fundamental part of how our atmosphere works.

We have now had 10 years of cooling or stable temperatures

Using our resources carefully and cleaning up after ourselves is good for the environment, but it won't make a scrap of difference to global warming.

The main environmental threat we face is the exponential increase in the human population

  22. I'm afraid there is no 'silver bullet' on climate change - the solution lies with lots of different actions from all areas of society: businesses, government and of course all of us.

The good news is that our part of the bargain is easy and there are loads of simple things you can do, ranging from switching to a green electiricty tariff to recycling more to simply draft-proofing your house; most of these actions are getting cheaper and more accessible by the day.

BUT... if there is one thing you do today it's this: switch your home over to energy-efficient light bulbs. It's easy, cheap and you'll instantly start saving - on average £55 a year on your bills if you change all the bulbs that can be changed.

  23. care

  24. JS, you have hit it on they head.  This gang has betrayed their party and their country.   They have made the USA the laughingstock of the world in developed countries and the hated and despised in developing countries.  Once upon a time "Conservative" or "Republican" did not equal "n**i" in the eyes of the average American as it does today.  I'm going to have to hold my nose and vote Democrat like all Patriotic Americans, but I'm angry and I resent what this rogue group has done to our country and the Party of Lincoln..  It will be a long, long time before any Republican will hold high office.  Just having Bush out of the White House doesn't make America safe or sane.  His gigantic army of brownshirts will still have to be dealt with.  The people who have set aside our good, wise, trusted environmental laws written over so many years by both Parties so they could rape the planet and run off with our money should be tried for crimes against humanity.  The so-called "skeptics" and "deniers" are like thugs blocking the exits of a burning building.  We are not waiting for global warming to arrive, or waiting to see if they it will arrive.  We are already far down that slippery slope and gathering speed.  We may have time to prevent our extinction and reverse the effects of the last eight years, but we will never know unless we act now.  Before that can happen these people need to be dealt with.  One can only hope that will be as their antecedents were dealt with at Nuremburg

  25. Stop worrying about things that you can not change. This will reduce the heat given off by your body and thus reduce the warming effect.

  26. What climate change ????

Its all a load of scaremongering so the governments can tax you even more.

  27. Tell the sun to steady itself.

  28. remove beans, broccoli and beer from one's diet.

  29. As a conservative I hate to say it but in America the #1 thing we can do is vote Republicans as far out of office as possible this Fall.

The underlying issue of global warming is not a partisan one at all, but the Republican party needs to get that fact through its collection of thick skulls (and protruding brow ridges) and become part of the solution, not part of a massive and possibly fatal corporate barrier.

  30. Sweet talk the Yanks into buying 1.0L Vauxhall Corsa's

  31. Reduce wastage of resources.
