Whats the smallest island with a river?

  1. I have a creek in my backyard that splits in two and the dirt in the middle has this little trickle of water that goes through, so you could say that was the smallest island. My island about 5 feet by 8 feet. My point is, I agree with tinicat4. There are too many things you could call a river and an island.

  4. You'd have to define what a river is. Does a creek count? A stream? An island doesn't need to be very big to have a creek. So the answer is probably unknown.

Find a lakeshore and move some mud and dirt around so that you have a pile of it that sticks up out of the shallow water.  Now take a pitcher and scoop up some water and trickle it down the side of your pile of dirt.  Congratulations!  You have just created the world's smallest island with a river!
