I want to teach my daughter how to board, she is around 116cms tall and I can`t find a small board locally ( I live in Scotland). I wondered if they are more popular in the US, and should I buy on the internet?

  1. My kids have grown up with Ride Snowboards - they started on 105cm boards which is the smallest I could find. This is the size that you would need. The new Ride "Lowride" is a great board to learn on and improve on - both my kids ride these boards:

Here is an online shop with a very low price - I'm sure you can find others. New or previous season boards would have different colors and different graphics if you don't like this one:

    Good Luck

  2. Since you live in the UK, I would suggest trying Blue Tomato.  They are an internet shop out of Austria.  They have sizes down to a 107cm.  Their shipping charges are reasonable, free if over 200€ order value.

If you can;t find anything there, try The House, in the US.  They have a greater selection of boards, but the shipping will be more.

  3. After some quick research I think this might be your best option: http://www.burton.com/Gear/Default.aspx#...

Buying it online might be a good option depending on the cost of shipment. And that's depending on if US stores will ship to the UK.  If you could find a UK store that sells it, that would be your best bet.

    Good Luck.
