Can't remember the tune of the commercial, but it is modeled after The Breakfast Club movie. Try googling the soundtrack, maybe it is one of those songs.

Its the theme song from The Breakfast Club, look up the soundtrack to the movie on google, and you'll find it. Its like, "Don't Forget About Me" or something close to that I bet.

It's called Don't You (Forget About Me). JC Penney has an EP on iTunes with a bunch of different bands singing it. Not sure which version is the one they used on the commercial though.

Just go on iTunes and type in Don't You Forget About Me Covers and you'll find it.
