Whats the starting salary for inexperienced graphic and web designers in india?

With knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator / CorelDraw, Pagemaker /Adobe InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver, Swish, HTML, DHTML, Javascript, but WITHOUT practical exposure or work ex, what would be the starting salary as a web and/or grahpic designer in INDIA ?

How much value would a live project add to the above profile?

Without real time experience you can't expect high salary. Whatever you may know.

If you already a freelancer finished some projects on your own you can demand the company to give you a high salary. That's Best.

I have a friend he's also a freelancer he demanded his salary with a big company and they gave him what he demanded. Sounds great? yeah...it should. ;)

If you planned to join in a metro city you should ask for 10k / month. If it is a normal city you can expect 7k/month. Yeah I know....this is really low for a person who knows the above all applications you've mentioned. But you must be a beginner/intermediate in those apps without real time experience.

My answer is, don't do job for others when you can do that on your own. Yes I mean Freelancing. That is great to learn and earn. Wish you good luck for your future.
