I only know of one, the Sea Diamond.  I have been on several, and they have not sank.

dont worry, i have been on so many cruises and look on the news in how many months have u heard of a boat sinking?!

The Sea Diamond from Louis Cruise Lines, which recently sunk off the coast of Santorini - was a freak accident, a rarity among cruise ships.  In that case, the captain was at fault.  Unless you come across really bad weather - more then likely the cruise ship will be fine.  When all else fails, pray.

PS Thousands of ships have sank since the Titanic - usually do the heavy waves and winds in storms.  Check out the Deadliest Catch on TV, about the fisherman who travel the Bering Sea.  Another deadly area is the Drake Passage between Anartica and Argentina - many a ship has sunk in that area due to the fantastic storms.

Even if a boat begins to sink. There have been so many advances in boat building . It would take several hours for a ship to sink. There is plenty of time to get to a lifeboat.

Don't worry... The ships people prepare you prior to departure of what to do if you need off the boat. I was also anxious prior to our first cruise but have been on many. Have Fun....
