Racism?

Uh, no. Senna played for Spain in the 2006 World Cup and was arguably Spain's most important player at EURO 2008.

Here's my version of what I think happened:

Based on the background, the photo looks to be from Spain's opening match of EURO 2008 against Russia (the 4-1 victory). I've provided a couple of links to other photos from that game prior to kickoff.

I'm guessing that after the national anthems and handshakes were done, Senna was so eager to get going (remember, it was Spain's opening match) that he ran off to the middle of the pitch to begin warming up, forgetting that he had to pose with his mates for the traditional team photo.

The photo you've posted shows the exact moment after Senna had just sneaked in between Torres and Puyol and began to squat down as his teammates were waiting for him. The split-second timing of when the the rest of the players were about to turn their heads to face forward was caught by this particular photo.

Nothing more than that. No harm, no foul.
