  1. If you don't have a lot of power you need to work on your timing instead.

The other guys weight coming in when he is moving in or throwing a punch or wrongfooted is what adds all the power to the real lighnting strikes 1 punch KO.

It's like a head on collision. You punch is doubled in power by his weight launching into it.

This is what timing does.So get better at counterpunching and hitting a guy when the time is right.

  2. Give it up mate.

either you punch is girlie or your technique is wrong, either way to be asking this question is mind blowing.

Some ppl have glass jaws some dont. Some ppl tire some dont.

Every bout is different therefore you should figure out what beats an opponent, thats what its about.

    Ever tried crochet?

Train hard, its not how you win, i.e by knock out, points. it's the tick in a win column.

Some of the worlds greatest fighters didn't have huge punches, but they wore down ppl, and then finished them, to think that their is one sure fire punch or technique tells  me you are looking for glory without understanding the concepts mate.

Needlecraft, you can impress the girls with some nice embroidery on their blouses.

Train hard and learn the game, take your bouts as a learning curve and the maybe one day your punch will come naturally, instead of you hunting for the one shot, you will become a true combatant.

Haberdashery are available in all good stores.

  3. Hit him as hard as you can below the belt. One hit PAW !

  4. hit them with a hook shot. so hit them from the side

but to knock them out. hit them from the side with a hook shot but direct it on a slight upward angle and hitthere jaw. this casue the skull to shake in a way that you black out.

another great technique is to hit them with a uppercut which casues there head to fall back and they are dazed for a few seconds- just after you hit them with teh uppercut and there head goes back follow with a hook shot to there jaw and they have a higher chance of been knocked out or at least to the ground

  5. Hit them close to the temple on the head it will knock them out, as you don't have much power it won't kill them.

  6. Upper cut under the jaw... knocks them cold everytime...!

  7. Generally it is power but there are points like the temple area, actually I think I recall it being the top half of the head generally, because what happens when you get hit in the head is obviously your head suddenly throws backwards from the force of the punch however you brain stays still, remember that the brain is suspended in a liquid. What then happens is the front of your skull pushes on the front of your brain causing damage, if sufficiant damage is caused you will black out. So I would suggest in making yourself a more all round fighter, work on some power punches, after all it all comes from technique so you don't have to be a big guy, so work on footwork and throwing what weight you do have with your hips, you'll be surprised what force you can muster from little effort. Also speed and power go hand in hand so you should be able to improve it, remember the only thing stopping you is yourself! So just do it.

  8. aim for the nerve right under the right eye it disorients all humans and will lead to a quick knockout this what alot of boxers do hope it helps

  9. Well i recommend new career.

  10. Bang on the side of the Jaw usually works.

  11. theres no technique. SPEED IS POWER!! ur probably not using it rite. put ur bodyweight into ur punches. bruce lee is a good example, too fast......speed is power, use it rite. Its called one punch knockout!

  12. There is no term for the punch, but there is a term for the one being hit... "Glass Jaw"

This actualy refers to a packet in the chin that will cause the person to temporarly black out when it is broken. This often happens in car accidents when struck by the steering wheel or even the airbag.

You need to understand that you have to hit it correctly and even then it may not work.

A technique used by a one time champ was a VERY quick one two punch, first to the stomach with a left then to the chin with a right. The jab to the stomach made them come forward toward the punch to the face. This made the contact a whiplash effect so even if you did not hit the Glass of the glass jaw you were still going to get a good daze out of them.

How you hit is equaly important. If you hit with the wrong part of your hand you will not cause as much damage. Straight line physics will be your best friend in the ring.

  13. I realize you are a serious career fighter, however when I only ready the headline to you question, my gut answer was hit like you don't want to be hit back. Hope you don't mind me.

  14. punchers are born and not made,

but , you need speed power accuracy and timing,

transfer the power through your foot , leg , hip and into the upper body instead of just punching with your arm.

you need to be hitting them on the chin

hit your opponent as they are coming towards  you , this doubles  the  impact .

p.s. i can knock anybody out , its  easy

  15. try somewhere where it will knock them out kinda like where there respitory system is for them to not easily breathe

i dont really know i do martial arts sometime i just hit them right in the neck or do a roundkick lol

  16. Aim for the spot that every boxing trainer tells you to protect the most...THE CHIN! A clean hit there will definitely knock them out unless they can endure it. Or you can give a good hook to their temple but i woudn't recommend on doing this so often because it may lead to death if you hit too hard.

  17. an uppercut to the side of the head    ppl plz click here and tell your friends after u answer>>>tyhttp://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

  18. It just really depends on the person you are fighting.  Epsecially in boxing, it will be a lot harder to knock someone out.

The best way to knock someone out is firstly: DO NOT HIT THE TEMPLE!

Probably the best bet is a hook which should connect to the bottom half og the jaw only.  This causes a sort of whiplash effect and will often cause the brain to "shut down" (I don't know the technical term.  Its some kind of "safety feature" to prevent any further damage or pain, something like that)

  19. That is a rediculous question to ask..especially if you are a boxer...there is no d**n technique you use wat u have, if u have speed you could easily stop your oponent on the 20 point rule by landing 20 points more than him before the last round..but i guess your not THAT fast or just didnt know about it.ie not a boxer. idiot.

  20. yeh if you box you will no the punch starts from the tip of your toe all the way through your body  so if you do throw that big shot you still may not knock them out or down you need a bit of luck. some top fighters are not blesed with that KO power so you will probley never have it in you but its not a problem if you like doing it keep it up and try as you always be fit. go to the body.

if i was  you id go to the body. the shots  to body  are the most sickening thing in boxing as it takes away you breth and most times its over cos you cant get up as your body will not let u.  makes you ill every one has been windid  so  you no what im saying  then you might get it done with sooner as boxer dont get paid for over time do they   good luck

  21. the punch that you don't see coming will ring you bell.. the next thing that helps is a pure punch to to side of the jaw or point of the chin... but if you don't really have a knock out punch then you must out point them and not get knocked out your self... get in great shape and learn to hit and move....

  22. hit them square in the chin, anything or anywhere else will just cause pain.

  23. Catch them on the jaw mid-way between the chin and the ear.

  24. Well try to puch will you fist flat

  25. ffloyd mayweather is the best!!!

  26. hook them in between the side of the eye and the temple somewhere around there they will feel real dizzy and get a headache

  27. As you see their are alot of people that think they know how to with the exception of one I don't think any have the experience of a fight your trainer should know if he was knowledgeable in boxing techniques -first you need to work on your power you hear some fighters that have knockout power and some have to work at it  the best way is hours of 2,3,4,5&6 on the heavy bag then 7&8 on the uppercut bag if your a boxer you know the #'s then hit the weights there is a spot about 2 inches up the jaw that is the favorable spot  for the glass jaw if you work on that power though you'll get knockouts with body shots and that is a great feeling when you hit the breadbasket and they drop!

  28. Your watching to much telly. But, if you wait until they aren't looking then hit them as hard as you can on the side of the head, near the ears. This may be slightly difficult in a boxing ring.

  29. its called a brakeoplexus strike...you hit the person at the base of there neck but before their shoulder starts from either side.... any shots to the head have a severe risk to pemanent injury...the brekeoplexus strike simply overloads the nervous system causing you to shut down for a few seconds allowing you to handle you business..im in the army it is part of our combatives training to learn that, trust me it works but dont do this to your mom or anything alright lol
