  1. Not Worth it :( Its Bad Believe me From my Experience

  2. Personally I say not worth it.  A dremmel tool with a grinding wheel will do the same thing.

Any type of grinder will not prevent cutting the quick (blood vein) - you can still cut it with a grinder just like with a clipper.  The advantage to a grinder is that the nail is left smooth.

However, many dogs have a problem with a grinder due to the noise and the vibrations.

Either way, the one advertised on TV is much more expensive than a Dremmel, which can do the same thing.

  3. this is what ive also been wondering about....

on a dog with black nails how can you tell if your to close to the quick?

and by the time you realize where the quick is will it be to late to stop it from bleeding?

good question and i wish i knew the answer but i dont

  4. Haven't used it, but would compare it to using a Dremel which people have been using for years on their dogs nails.

The things that looks nice with the peticure is that it has a guard which cold be helpful especially for dogs with longer hair.

I do think the commercial makes it look to easy though. If your dog isn't used to the noise of the peticure, or doesn't like his nails trimmed or his feet handled. Its going to take some training on your part to be able to use the tool.

  5. I think a Dremel would be a better buy.  Does the same thing with a dog's nails, plus is handy for a myriad of other things around the house :)
