Whats the weather like in orlando floridia in october.?

My family and I are taking a trip to disney world October10 through October 21. Just want to know what I need to pack for the weather. thanks

My hubby and I went for our honeymoon in October a few years back and the weather was perfect. We wore shorts and t-shirts the whole time. I brought a sweatshirt at night because I get cold easily. I thought it was ideal weather. In fact, we are going to WDW at the same time you are with our entire family this year. Hope you have a great trip! I can't wait!

We are usually in the low to mid 80's in October. It's very nice that time of the year! I hope you enjoy your trip!

It is reasonably warm that time of year. Use layered clothing in the form of sweaters, and light jackets. Night time temperatures should be in the 50's to low 60's, day time temps in the 70's to low 80's. I would ask the Chamber of Commerce in that area for a better temperature range for your trip. Disney World could also tell you. The Weather Channel is another good source of much better information.

Mid-October in Orlando tends to be very summery, and you only need clothes for warm weather.  

We visited Orlando during almost the same period and wore t-shirts & shorts the whole time.

I don't agree with the first answer and the chances of having low temps in the 50s during October in south Florida are about nil.  

Always check the weather forecast the day before you leave home to make sure the next ice age hasn't started and you don't need to toss in a sweatshirt or light jacket.

It should be very nice, still quite warm, but not sizzling hot, probably mid 70's to low 80's. Some rain, perhaps, but it's well past the stormy season.
