  1. i'm convinced that they're used to kill those who wouldnt make it through the season anyway, but maybe thats just me

  2. It's about keeping up with the other teams. I don't think teams have always practiced as much as they do now. But as soon as one team does something extra, everyone else has to do it to keep up. If all of the good teams started having three a days, it wouldn't surprise me if they became more common. However, three a days would most likely just wear everyone out, sometimes two a days do the same.

Two a days are the worst part of football season in my opinion, but you have to stick them out.

  3. d**n dude yall practice long!! but im in college and play football and its all about deciding the depth chart and learning the scheme. Once everything starts to get figured out then you will notice the coach ending practice early and letting yall rest

  4. to get timing and position play down

  5. its to get you used to thinking and playing when you are tired. the second practice is to prepare you for the second half of the game most of all the fourth quarter when you are exhausted but the game is on the line. trust me, two a days suck but it's a great feeling when you're in a game in the fourth quarter still pumping with energy and your opponent is gasping for breath tipping over.
