Whats the worlds largest tomato plant?

I really think I have a good chance at beating the record. My intdoor tomato plant is literitly over 6ft tall (its supported with wood rods)

  1. Well, sorry to disappoint you but I have seen tomato vines over 18 feet long.

    Greenhouses grow their tomatoes in a special peat moss heavily fertilized.  This moss expands as the roots grow and grow and grow.  


  2. A tomato plant grown by Nutriculture Ltd., Mawdesley, Lancashire, England, reached a record-breaking height of 19.8 m (65 ft.) on May 22, 2000.  The plant was grown hydroponically -  which means it was grown passing nutrient solutions through it rather than planting it in the soil.
