Whats the worse that can happen if you gave information to a free prize site?

I dont mean the pop ups that you see. I mean a site that says that if you tell 5 people about it, they will give you a free Iphone, or xbox or something.

But I dont mean to be a sucker for things like this, but what is the worse that could happen if you gave your info to sites like that, or even pop ups?

i wouldn't trust a site that asks you to only get 5 people to sign up... try legit sites like http://www.rewards1.com/index.php?referr... sure it takes more time than referring 5 people but you can earn points towards getting game consoles like the xbox 360 or a wii

Well, you can be spamed to no end, perhaps you identity could be stolen, and you can possibly be hacked into.  Maybe you can get viruses and a lot of people, at least five who won't like you because you gave out their information to them too.

they can steal your identity, bill you, for all you know they could have people come to your house and kill you. mostly it will just be a virus on your computer and will take massive charges out on your credit card/phone bill.

You could get a bunch of junk emails, junk mail, and one in a millionth chance that you might win a coupon. Go for it.
