Whats the worst bit of sportsmanship you've heard of at either winter or summer Olympics?

I'm thinking its a toss up between Ben Johnson doping or when that chick crowbarred another girls leg in Ice skating?? Any others

  1. Yeah I think all the doping ones come into it. Especially Marion Jones because she was such an inspiration and then turned out to be fake and lying about for several years.

    From the time frames given, sounds like she is still in prison.

    But I also read up about the Swedish Wrestler that took his medal off this year and walked away. It later was revoked by the IOC. Also it adds at the bottom another tale of a wrestler refusing his medal.

    I think all of the above are good examples of non-sportsmanship.


  2. The wrestler who through down his bronze medal in these 2008 olympics is pretty poor sportsmanship to me.  How many other people would have loved to be up on the medal stand at all, and he was just angry because he didn't get a gold.

  4. All the USA fans who bagged out the Fench for not winning the 4 x 100 m freestyle relay and who claimed that the chinese gymnastics team was aged between 8 and 12.
