Politicians are generally power-hungry and ambitious. They will do anything or say anything to keep their position so they are perceived as untrustworthy.

Most politicians start out with the best of intentions. They are seduced by the wealth and the power that can be gained by toeing the party line and they lose their independence to the Party Whip. The rewards in politics is substantial, even at a local level the expenses can be very rewarding.

It's just so downright phony. This year, Hillary Clinton badmouthed Barack Obama for weeks and weeks. Now that she has given it up, she's praising him. All the Democrats are behind him now, saying what a great candidate he is, even though they spent tons of money earlier preaching about his lack of qualifications.

The Republicans are no different. All the ones who were against McCain are now backing him 100% and praising him to the max.

It's the same every election year, and it will be for every one to come.

When Al Gore endorsed Obama earlier this week, it was front-page news. That's news? Did anyone think Gore would be pulling for McCain?

Soon both parties will spend millions on their conventions, news coverage will be endless, and speeches will bore people to death. When the dust settles, headlines all over the country will announce their decisions: Obama and McCain.

Is it any wonder people are tired of it?

Politicians - they are almost all in it as pigs are to the trough!

The inability to answer questions - I don't care so much that I disagree with them but I wish that they would give valid answers!

Lastly boredom, which I/m sure is contrived to cover the fact that they are spending our money  - mainly for their benefit.!
