  1. It could have rabies....

If you found a cat and want to keep it that is wonderful!

I would recomend taking it to the vet before you bring it close to any of your other animals especially cats. Have them do an FIV/FLK combo test on it. Get its rabies and other vaccines. Have it checked for internal parasites and the vet with do a full physical to make sure its in optimal health to bring home. Another great recomendation would be to have it spayed or neutered while its getting this other stuff done.

If your willing to take care of it and up for the costs go for it!

  2. The worst? Well I guess if it bit you and it had rabies that'd be pretty bad. Or it could have fleas or a skin condition like ringworm that you could catch.

Or it could like scratch your eyes or something?

    Ummm, why?

  3. be careful of a few things... First, make sure the cat isn't showing signs of rabies. Is it walking in circles  sometimes? Foaming at the mouth? Drinking obscene amounts of water? Acting violent or sick in any way? If not still keep it clear of children or yourself until you can tell. Another major problem I would worry about is flea's. I just got a kitten off the street and brought it home and had to go through a huge flea infestation. The kitten was worth it but my gosh if you only knew. Parasites are another worry, they would show up on f***s. Not all are big enough to see with the naked eye. My best advice to you if it is feasible would be to make a vet appointment and get the routine fecal tests done. Tell them where it came from and ask the vets advice, they would know more. I say go for it, the kittie needs a home and some caring for, just get it to the vet asap.

  6. Besides rabies, you mean?  Alright, it's almost guaranteed to have fleas, intestinal worms too; if it's been living in the woods.  Ear mites, heartworm, ticks.  If it's a female, she might be pregnant.

  7. you could get cat scratch fever or you could get.

  8. It eats your first born child?

  9. if it bites you you will have to get rabies shots

  10. if you can pick it up, it isn't a stray, it's lost.
