A rubber bung type thing to block off a pipe. I have removed my dishwasher, and the pipe under the sink is open and leaks, and I need to block it off.

Go to a plumbers' supply shop, explain what you want to do, and they will give you the right fitting.

It's a pipe cap, make sure you get the right size...

Have you removed the dishwasher as you are moving? If this is the case you only need to temporary seal until the new owner install their dishwasher. If this is the case all you need to do is unscrew the spigot (the bit that the waste hose is pushed onto and secured by a Jubilee clip) then place a freezer bag over it and then s***w the spigot back on and it is now sealed. Leave a note to the new owner stating that they will need to remove the bag before attaching their dishwasher.
