Whats this deal I keep hearing about Jeff Hardy and drugs?

Question

when did he do drugs & is that why he wasnt in the wwe for a while?

fill me in, im a bit confused.

He first came to the WWE in 1998 and lasted until 2003. He got released by the WWE for no-showing to shows, failing drug tests and refusing to go to rehab. Then he came back to the WWE in 2006, after wrestling for TNA  , however he failed a drug test in March and got suspended for 60 days according to the WWE Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy. This was his second violation. If he gets a third, then he'll be released, and not allowed to wrestle for the WWE in the future.

If Jeff Hardy has never done drugs I'd be so shocked!!!! He seems like he would try something if "everybody" was doing it. But it can't be anything serious because Jeff Hardy is on the heavy side these days.

His first suspension was Last year, around July 2007, Jeff got suspended, for 30 days for Drugs - hence why he missed Summerslam. Before Wrestlemania he was suspended again for 60 days for his second violation for the companys wellness policy. He took unprescribed painkillers because had been having trouble with his back. Those risk taking moves he does have their problems.

A few days later, his house burnt down and his beloved dog Jack died in the fire. Since his return, Jeff has said he has changed, has been tested nearly everyday and the fire and his dog died have changed him.

But before he came back in 2006, Jeff had been in the WWE before and was released because of his drug problems back then too. Same with TNA. He was suspended from TNA for not turning up to shows ect..

Soon as Jeff returned, the first thing he did was apoligise on Live TV. It took guts. But Jeff i believe has fought his Demons alot like Shaun Michaels did. I hope he stays clean because if he doesn't it will be his third strike and he will be fired.

back in 02 or 03 he did weed and didn't want to go to rehab so he got released went to tna. came back to the wwe got suspended again earlier this year for "accidentally" taking pain killers. one more suspension no more jeff hardy

yes thats why he was suspeded for 2 months. He has a big problem with drinking and using painkillers for years now.

he did drug the week before he got suspended and failed his drug test and thats why he missed out for like 3 months and thats why he also missed WM 24 cause he failed the drug test
