Whats this filipino fruit?

Its round and about the size of a peach..

I think it has a green outer skin

It has a white flesh thats sticky..

And it has a sweet taste..

    a star apple is also green and sometimes purplish but not brown. it doesn' t have the shape of a pear.

Maybe it's Caimito.... in english "Star-Apple"... try to search it on the net, but most of the pics shown are the violet ones(bka ma-confuse ka, some of the result would be star fruit not star apple, they're totally different fruits... it's green when it's hilaw and violet when it's riped... we have a tree of that in the province... that's one of my favorites... pipitasin ko lng then i'll eat it... one to sawa lalo na pag summer... tingin ko ito na hinahanap mo... pasok sa lahat ng descriptions e... the white glue-like thing you were talking about, i must agree is really sticky, lalo na if it dries in your hand while you're eating, dagta yun.. hehe..

    sori most of the pics are the violets. mga hinog na yan... wala akong makita nung green ones.

  25. It's Star Apple or Kaimito in Tagalog. Sometimes it's green, sometimes it's brown or dark maroon.
