I watched it when i was little its about two women and then go to thailand and someone put drugs in their case, they go to jail in thailand and eventually get out i think its calledl ike crystal palace or sumink but i really have no idea :S

There is a movie with Claire Danes called Brokedown Palace...it sounds an awful lot like the movie you're talking about, but it's fairly recent.  Maybe this is a remake of the original you were describing?
