Shopping with your avatar??  I don't think shopping has anything to do with our avatars.  Our avatars, regardless of where you see them, don't have anything to do with any tasks we perform in any one of the Yahoo! services we may be using. They don't actually serve any purpose other than just a representation of the user.  I think you need to clarify your question, or possibly resubmit it, but don't hit "submit" until you're sure it will be understood and is stated clearly.

Are you possibly asking how you create the Yahoo! avatar (cartoon) or how you edit it, or change what it's wearing, hair color, etc.?  Below are instructions on how to create the Yahoo! avatar. The link given can also be used to edit an avatar you've already created.  It's all free.

You can create the Yahoo avatar here:

Once you do that, come back to Answers and click on your avatar to get to your profile. The click "Edit my info". Scroll down to where you select which image you want to use as your avatar. Select the Yahoo one. Go to the bottom of the page and click on "Preview" then "OK" to save.
