Whats up Nascar fans?

Ive been away for a little while been really busy but ive had time to keep up with Nascar for the most part. My question is why are 48 and 24 at the front in most practices lately and 88 at the back? Are they not communicating or what? Hopefully Junior finds his consistency in the chase.

  1. I think its all on Tony Eury as his Crew Cheif.  He made a coupkle bad moves this year that has cost him wins, and maybe the teamwork as far as sharing notes arent as good as they are with the 24 and 48.

  2. 88 is alot more consistent than his teammates--

  3. Actually Jr has been finishing a lot better that the 24 and 48.  The 24 hasn't even won this year.  I still think that Hendricks has the best communication as far as teams go.

I too, hope that Junior gets better during the Chase.  He is usually really good at some of the tracks in the Chase.  Texas, Charlotte, and of coarse Talladega.  He could easily win at those 3 tracks.  I think he has really done well this year.  He just hasn't had cars as good as Kyle and Carl.  Also, last week Jr messed himself up on the first lap by passing somebody before the start - finish line.  He apologized to his crew immediately.  It put him down a lap right off.   Although Jr has not been qualifying in the top 10, he has been finishing top 5 or top 10 very consistently.

I used to pay a lot of attention to practice speeds.  In the case of the 24,48, and 88, I have noticed that they don't mean much for the race.  They could just be trying certain test set-ups that they may not use during the race.

If you need to know anything else, just let me know

  4. Junior has never really been about the practice or qualifying but he always shows up on race day. I htink he tries not to tip his hand at practice.

  5. they're getting "set" for the chase.

It's just the forces of HMS leveling off.

They need the forces of three drivers as opposed to the forces of JGR who only depend on one driver ( #18 ).

Don't worry HMS is more "tight" than JGR, although never take JGR lightly. Wait until the chase begins and "fun time" is over. I think you'll be in for some intense action that will make, your job seem all that more satisfying. It takes a lot more co-ordination to orchestrate three drivers, instead of just one "kid".

  6. Well like the old saying goes. Practice for show, Race for Dough. Jr. races for Dough.

  7. I'm with ya on  that one it's funny I keep hearing that they are giving Jr all the good stuff and not the 24 or 48 but I don't think that is true But I hope like you do that Jr will pull it together during the chase!

  8. I am hoping Jr will pick it up for the chase. Maybe the comunication is more than we know as his team mates seem to lurk in the feild until it is show time, and show time is coming.

But to be quite honest that Shrub of a Busch is pretty darn good this season and if he does not bring home the cup it will either be because he gave it away or it was stolen. As much as I hate to say this, (mainly because of a few Jr haters on here) Kyle has earned the title champ by his record this year already, he just needs to close the deal...

  9. Jr. is no good.

Unlike what Aprli said who obviously hasnt been watching the races, Jr only has 1 top ten in the past 9 races. He is not good is the problem.
