Whats up with Heated Blades? ?

I know that 4 people wore them last year to test them.... but

Any decision?

Are they in .. Are they out?

Is it a player option?

Any word on the advancement of this technology?

Bonus- Over/Under on how many peopole will mention that they were tested (by a few players) last year cause they didnt read the details?

Supposedly they give better glide. Gretzky is still a marquee name but it would have more merit if it were a current NHLer marketing them.

I heard they were out.  

But they also mentioned putting heart rate monitors in the skate.

I went to their website, Thermablades.com. Nothing really has been changed on there since it went up. It looks like no real decision has been made one way or the other. I am guessing that they need to keep testing for a bit longer , then wait until the competition committee to look at the data to decide if they could be used by players on a regular basis.
