Whats up with all you New York Jets haters?

This team never had such a good line, Thomas Jones gained over 1100 yards ALONE behind a c**p line last season where he was only able to rush to the right side for most of the year. With the addition of Alan Faneca at guard, Damien Woody at tackle and Tony Richardson at FB, this is gonna allow him to hae close to 1700-1800 yards. Everyone loved Jones when he was with the Bears, but now he sucks just cuz hes a Jet? People need to stop watching the media AND WATCH THE GAMES! Brett Favre STILL has game... and will be a dang good QB, doesnt matter how good NY's receivers are cuz he will make them look awesome... (theyre good anyway)

Defense- Kris Jenkins is a pro bowler, David Harris (Linebacker) started 9 games last season.... and only had 30 or 40 tackles less than the NFL LEADER! SICK STATS! Revis is a shutdown corner, Justin Miller is back from injuries (PRO BOWLER) Kerry Rhodes is a pro bowler, check out his stats compared to John Lynch and Rodney Harrison the past 2-3 seasons, but he got snuffed out like always because of Lynch being overrated and harrison being a Patriot. Vernon Gholston is a rookie, give him time. Calvin Pace needs to adjust more to the 3-4. This Jet team.... is going to have a 12-4 record this season and will be AFC East champs. Laugh now, but save this and keep it for when January comes around, cuz I will be laughing right back at you.

  1. Well the Jets were my "sleeper" pick to surprise people this year, but now that they have Favre the pressure's on and I don't think anyone will be surprised by them.  I think they had a great offseason and they have a lot of things going their way; the only question they had was at quarterback, and now they've got an answer.

Their only problem is that they're still probably not better than the Pats.  So they've got to make the playoffs as a wildcard, and then try to beat the Pats again in the playoffs.  If things start going way wrong for the Patriots, then I would say watch out for the Jets, but then even if they won the division crown they'll still end up facing the Chargers or Jaguars in the AFC Championship, and that's gonna be a hard game to win.

  2. I don't think that many people hate the Jets.  A lot of people are tired of the Favre media blitz.

I also think people aren't buying that the Jets immediately become a playoff favorite, and Super Bowl contender.

They have made some fine improvements.  However, Favre has to learn an entirely new offense, and frankly the AFC is stacked with proven teams that are almost assuredly "locks" for the playoffs:

    Colts

    Patriots

    Chargers

    Steelers

    Jaguars?

Realistically, the Jets will have to fight for a wildcard with a lot of teams that made their own strides.

    The Jets lost Joanathan Vilma.

Vegas sets the Jets win total at 8.5 for the season.  THAT says a lot.

  3. Ive always been a giants fan but i root for the jets too. They have a lot of potential this year.

  4. They are freakin' cheater and accused the Patriots of doing something impossible and I am not even a Patriots fan I am a Chargers fan! The Jets are freakin' sore losers!

  5. calm down and get used to it. brett favre is on ur team and ur going to hear more of it.

I'm a Lions fan who has learned to deal with haters

  6. A. If you think 12-4 could win the AFC East this season you don't belong in a football room. Maybe you'd do better following the Oympics.

    B. The Jets suck. Period. Favre was good in his prime, he is not the best of all time by a long shot and he is way out of his prime. The Jets are 3rd in the AFC right now, behind the Pats and Bills. I will give you they are still better than the dolphins and they are better than they were last year, but they will be 9-7 at best and come January you and the Jets will be at home watching the Playoffs.
