Whats up with my cat l*****g my breast?

ok he knows im his mommy but everytime hes on top of me he goes to suckle on my breast as if he was going to breast feed from me.. why does he do this.. does he think im his mommy and am going to nurish him... and NO not my naked breast i mean when i have clothes on he will tread on my breast first then start l*****g suckling on it like crazy

That's.... weird, idk, he might just like sucking on the fabric, I have this stuffed animal thing and my cat suckles and licks it all the time.

It could just be coincidence that it's where your breast is - cats often suckle of clothing (usually a sleeve, sometimes with my cats on my shoulder) if they were taken away from their mother before they were ready.  Two of my kittens were abandoned at 4 weeks old - too early to be weaned - and both like to l**k and suckle my sleeves.  It's sweet, but sad at the same time...

Next time your cat does it, move him so that his mouth is somewhere else and see if he still does it.  You might find that he doesn't do it if you hold him differently as he may have got used to just suckling in the one spot.
