Question:

Whats up with my chili pepper plant

I have a chilli pepper plant at work thats has little buds trying to grow, there not blooming but a few of them seem to be falling off the plant.

Anyone know whats up, the plant is well watered and is well drained.

  1. Pepper plants should be "stressed" some..let the soil go dry untill the edges begin to curl or they slightly droop..also do not fertilize peppers with any fertilizer containing high contents of nitrogen..this makes them abort the blooms and fruit and produce leaves..I will post this and get you some info..read #4 here..the fertilizer needs to be high in phospherous..NOT NITROGEN..and also it warns you of overwatering..

    Also notice on the first link under #4 it mentions only fertilizing TWICE IN THE SEASON..
