  1. Some dogs ears are too thick set for them to be able to carry them erect..  This can be an hereditary problem going back through generations.

If they have both been up and then this has happened suddenly then take her straight to the vets as it could be serious.

If she has been like this since a puppy then let her be and be happy, after all she is unique. If it is from birth She will not be in any pain.

    Good luck.

  2. It's a charming idiosyncracy.  I bet she's adorable. There's nothing wrong; some of us are lopsided, too.

  3. ^^ Sounds very very cute :D

Nothing to be worried about though, as Kallis said.

If you are still worried about it, on your next check up, as your vet about it (:

  4. Perfect answer, Kallis!

  5. nothings worng but just to be shor take it to the vet

  6. You have to train the other ear to stand up.  By gently rubbing the ear in the upward direction over several weeks period, it should begin to naturally stand on it's own.  Some dogs experience sensitivity with their ears.  Be patient and don't pull or be impatient.  You might even gently rub the other ear just even out the sensation.  Try talking softly to your dog while doing this.  This will soothe and calm her.  She may try to run off or bolt from you. Take your time. Remember, you are training the ear to stand and it takes time.

No, there is nothing wrong with the ear being down; and yes, many people do think it's cute.  The question to you is, do you wish for her ears to stand straight up?  If you do, simply massage the ear until it "learns".
