Whats up with my dog????

Question

the bit where the dogs tail touches its bum has gone white and slimy and also red and her bum is red and swollen she hasnt been wel for the last couple od days im thinking bout taking her to the vet soon,but whats up with her also she wont eat her food only treats and barbecue chicken and meat and treats sometimes.her bum really doesnt lokk good.

why wait any longer get her to the vets like you should have already

I hope she isn't to sick to save or cost you to much for waiting so long often the longer you wait the porblem can get worse and make curing harder................

First off, dogs should not be eating barbeque.

Secondly, get her to the vet!

Take her to the vert imeadiatly. You should do that first thing ALWAYS!

she could have an anal gland abscess, a severe hot spot, a skin infection, or severe allergy or flea allergy. get her to a vet soon before it gets worse....i am a vet tech and deal with this all the time but without being able to see it I'm just guessing as to what i see mostly with those symptoms.

It sounds like an infection of some sort. Get her to the vet as soon as possible. If it is an infection, she could lose her tail.

you should take her to the vet. and if she won't eat her food there is a reason, you shouldn't try and entice her with treats. dogs know when they should and shouldn't eat. its bad to force them to eat when they don't want to
