Whats up with my pc ?

Question

I dno whats wrong with my other pc.

I turn it on, and i come up with start windows normally, safe mode etc. But whichever option i seem to chose, when my pc reaches the windows xp page, where it loads. It just restarts and happens again all over.

Anyone know whats wrong, or what i can do

Get your windows XP CD and use a system restore point and see if that works.

Auto reboot even in safe mode... nothing can be done. the only way is try to re-install the windows. if still cannot, install the windows into difference folder, perform data backup and re-format.

If problem still persist, need to check either RAM or Hard disk.

you should have made a boot disc then you would not have this problem.

as for putting it right at this moment i am at a loss,

I think you have to reinstall the windows because same thing happen with me as well.

As your PC boots, press the F8 key continuously until you come to a screen with various boot options choose ‘disable automatic reboot on system error’ (or something similar). Highlight this option using the arrow keys and reboot. You should then find the reboot stalls at the BSOD (blue screen of death). You will have a blue screen with white writing. There should be an error message at the top of the page, followed by various fixes suggested by windows. (ignore these- they rarely work and are often not a ‘fix’ but just a workaround.) At the bottom will be a STOP: code, with various alphanumeric codes (in the format ?x???????? where the ? is a letter or number). The error message at the top and the STOP:  codes are what we need.

hmm...sounds like your PC has a virus you need to clear it up buy a CD am not sure what the CD is called...research it or go to shops like WHS and ask them..

may sound silly but this was happening to me .. i had a disc in the tray so i took it out and it stopped doing it so i not sure go to shops mate
