Whats up with starbucks??

Did they permanatly change their logo?

Why?

Does it attract more costumers??

Right now McDonald's and even Dunkin Donuts beat them as"better tasting coffee" at about 1/4 of the price that Starbucks charges.

They're trying to change there image no doubt as to attract more suckers er I mean people who don't mind spending 5,6,7,$8 for one of their "creations".

As I've always said.

No wonder they can put up over 1000 store ( and more) a year.

I think people are getting wiser with the economic crunch and Starbucks is getting a reputation of being total rip offs for a not so great product.

Yes, they'll try anything to regain some lost ground.

What they should really do it get real and drop their ridiculous prices.

According to Starbucks' Chairman Howard Schultz, they are "trying to restore some of the goodwill and warm feelings for the brand that have gone by the wayside because of increasing coffee prices, machine-made lattes, and bad press." This was from a recent article in Business Week.

they are cutting down on their breakfasts because they have realized that when you walk in their store in the morning it smells more like McDonald's rather than a coffee shop/house if it actually is... another thing they are changing the assortments available at the cash register such as gum and candy to reinforce the image that Starbucks is coffee.
