  1. Kwame Brown can be just as good as Ben Wallace.

  2. What I find interesting is that Theo Ratliff wants to leave the Pistons and play for the Sixers. Maybe it's because they barely got by the young team last playoffs and now with the addition of Brand, the Sixers are a legit contender and they'll have the confidence and skill to beat the Pistons next playoffs.

PS - I'm a Raptors fan so I'm not bias

  3. What on earth is Joe Dumars thinking, designing a play for Kwame is equivalent to a turnover.

  4. Well Kwame Brown has some good stuff.

    1. He can....

    2. ....

    3. ...

    Yeah you guys are doomed.

  5. Kwame is a decent defender.. He cna defend the big guys in the league..

  6. the pistons will choke again in the eastern conference finals or they might end up in the lottery

  7. I think Joe Dumars has bigger plans for Kwame Brown. He's a decent defender, and I think he could fit in with Detroits defense and could be a reliabe player off the bench.

  8. Pistons Always Made The Most Out Of What Is Available

Lets See What They Can Do With Kwame

  9. its preetty hard though. i mean they failed to produce darko milic but they produced billups, wallacex2, and hamiliton. depends . anything can happen. u might never know he can be traded or or be averaging 10 boards and 7 points per game.

  10. The Pistons can win without Kwame, and they got him for rather cheap though they could've given him less.  So if Kwame becomes Big Ben V2, great, but if not, they can use someone else.

  11. Pistons have always been boring in picking players. Chauncey, Ben, Prince, Rick...zzzzzzz! Kwame is boring, then it should be the proper choice, no wrong!

  12. .....Pistons still have the highest chance of winning the next championship.

  13. What up Detroit King,

When Detroit made the move to get Kwame at $4.5 million a yr, i was flabber-gasted.

Kwame is definitely above average when it comes to playing defense- and he is a solid contributor as a defender/rebounder.  i wouldn't say he's Ben Wallace (of yester-year) but he can help a team out with his defense on other bigs.

While i'm not sure how Kwame can get soft-hands and that his "work ethic" can change... i will say that Kwame would be best on a team with patient veterans.  He almost needs a veteran to take him under his wing.  Rasheed Wallace is not that guy- Antonio McDyess (actually maybe).

Some may say if Phil Jackson couldn't inspire Kwame who could- but Phil has a way of doing it through the media- kind of like calling Kwame out, etc.

If Kwame can accept a role of primarily playing defense - not expecting a lot of touches on the offensive set- you don't want to run the offense through him than he can contribute to the Pistons success this year.

  14. Only time can tell if Kwame gets better in Detriot or not
