My favourite aircraft to work on is Tornado GR4, I have many years experience on Tornado aircraft.

I don't have an "all time" favourite aircraft but I love the sound of the Rolls Royce Merlin engine.

LZ -127, the Graf Zeppelin. Even retrofitted with Helium, it was stout enough and would have the payload capability to party around the world with all our friends. Great food and wine on that airship.

Really good gas mileage, too.

Dehavilland Beaver DH2. It's the taxi of the north and has served well for over 50 years. Love that radial engine!

i was a passenger on one as a kid and fell in love with it, what a great looking plane, and a safety record up there with the best. its a shame there's very few left!

Military, it has to be the Hawker Hunter. Never has an aircraft looked so right.

Civilian, the Vickers VC-10. The only time one has been lost was on the ground and that was due to terrorist action. A beautiful aeroplane to look at or fly in too.

The Avro Lancaster, City of Lincoln. I love that plane to bits! Closely followed by the Sally B - a WW11 B17 Bomber. I've been onboard both of them but not into the air, just taxiing and not only did their crew have to be agile they also had to be very lean even with all those clothes they wore.

Probably the Piper Cub - I found that a really nice aircraft to fly.

Its a real pilot's aircraft and I assume one of the most fun to fly.  Having a 30 foot long gatling gun doesn't hurt either. Some say its ugly, but I think it is one of the most bad-azz looking planes in existence.

I have flown atleast 70 different types and models of everything from basic General Aviation a/c to WWII warbirds, transports, civilian airliners, float planes, seaplanes but the choice is easy as the F-16 was the pinacle of my career. Words cannot describe, even remotely the thrill. I thought when I was a kid that flying a P-51 would be the greatest thrill, and I bought one with a partner back in 1982, and it may have been just because it was so incredibly expensive to operate that it took the fun out of it... but while it was thrilling to fly such a historic machine, it wasn't even a patch on working my way up to and flying the Viper.
