  1. i was a little hard up a few weeks back and i tried tescos fabric conditioner, i didn't like it, it smelt ok, but the fragrance did not go to the clothes it was just too week...i tend to use comfort and Leanor usually...whichever is on deal. i like the spring time fragrances, but i also like the winter sensation one... i tried the 2 new comfort ones last week and liked the green one, but i hated the orange one, it smelt like vomit in a bottle...as for the softness of the fabrics, they are all about the same quality i found...what do you like?

  2. i like comfort  almond one and lenor the yellow one- i wash my extensions in it to keep them soft and shiny and it works amazingly makes them look brand new

  3. nope

  4. yeah i hate them all

all they do is fill up my washing machine drawer with mould so i stopped using it

  5. http://www.saferforyourhome.com

    great place to start!!

  6. I like Leanor the blue one spring .sleep sensations the lilac one is good for bedding . I have tried shops own the green asda one line fresh is ok  it has along lasting smell don't like the fabrease one but i have to say my best is fairy softener with almond and honey. be brave try a few u will find what suits u x

  7. I always use Lenor, the yellow one

  8. Love GAIN...

Only use it on my clothes and not the towels because of a recent thing I learned....when you put it in the towels, they are not as absorbent.  I found this to be true.

I've used cheap ones, but they don't stay smelling good for long.

  9. I don't use one.

Fabric softeners, all of them, work by coating fabric in a layer of sticky, water-repellent chemicals, usually some kind of environmentally unfriendly petrochemical or silicon product. The water-repellent property makes sheets clammy and towels less absorbent, and the stickiness attracts dirt particles that can wear away at fibres.

Fabric softeners also contain large amounts of the cheapest possible perfumes. Cheap scents contain tons of preservatives such as phenol that can cause problems not just for the wearer but for the environment and can cause rashes and other allergic reactions. They also clash with quality fragrances, making them (and the wearer) seem cheap.

Most importantly, natural fabrics don't actually require fabric softener. Softener was originally meant to prevent static cling in nylon and polyester fabrics; they don't work and aren't necessary for cotton, linen, and wool. However, the manufacturers' marketing departments have made it seem through advertising as if not using softener is somehow unhygienic, and that you're somehow unclean if you don't smear grease (which at the base is what softener is) on your clothing. Nothing could be further from the truth.

They're a bad idea all around.

  10. I luv the smell of Tesco green softner. I always used Lenor but on a tight week the other week I bought this other and Im now converted.

I swore Id never used own brands as always though they would be c**p because they are cheap, But sorry to you Tesco, I was wrong.

It smells lovely and stays on the clothes for ages.

  11. i dont find the cheap ones as good as the branded ones but its personal preference. my fave at the moment is the lenor infusions the black one its a bit more expensive but smells lovely i buy it when its on offer 2 for £....whatever. Also the fairy one with the peachy coloured top smells lovely.

  12. when you're using tecos or asdas, they are good to a certain extent, but will never have the same quality and long lasting fragrance as comfort.

  13. I swear by Downy. I have tried the cheap brands but have had clothing ruined. I also had problems with the way they smelled... Yuk! Hope this helps!
