.....the driver didn't look drunk to me on the video...the amount of alcohol he was meant to have in his system meant he wouldn't be able to walk...definitely a cover up...

If you got into a car with a driver who was drunk, and you didn't put on your seat belt - what would you expect to happen ? Maybe you'd be involved in an accident and die. Ten years later, nobody would be asking whether it was an accident ! Just because something happens to a famous person, there is always a lot of speculation. If it happened to you or me, no speculation. It was an accident.

Hi,

Thus is the fate to many who make the decision to get into a car with a drunk driver. Happens all the time; especially at high school graduation  parties; she's not the first nor the last to die this way. In hind sight her personal body guard should have been better on top of the situation.

It WAS an accident!Even princesses can die in car crashes. Diana died of blunt force trauma,an injury to the thoracic region,where the major arteries to the heart and lungs are housed.Her aorta,the major artery to the heart was severely impacted.It is quite possible that she would have lived if she were wearing her seat belt!The only survivor of the crash wore a seat belt!!

Henri Paul was not a licensed chauffeur;he was head of security. He had no business driving any one around.He was also drunk.But,Dodi Fayed ordered him to drive.Fayed did not know how to handle the hoards of paparazzi following Diana;his response to everything was to "go faster." Paul couldn't handle the powerful,speeding Mercedes and crashed the car into a pillar.There was no conspiracy.I suggested that you start educating yourself by reading reputable BOOKS and not tabloids about the case. And to brokendo, there are alcoholics who hide their conditions very well,they are FUNCTIONAL alcoholics who are able to go through their business without appearing overly intoxicated...until they do something that requires coordination...like driving.

Pointless, hurtful and fodder for the media.

Nothing will be resolved from it and all that is achieved is that the grandstanders and parasites who sucked off her while she was alive will get another few pages of media coverage.

The people I feel sorry for are the boys who lost their mother and the man who lost his son, through no fault of their own. That is a true tragedy, not all this scandal and carry on.

Time to let her rest, imo.

Clearly a tragic accidence caused by two things: A drunk driver and a bunch of paparazzis who didn't know when to stop. The woman is dead, and whatever we think, say or do will never bring her back.

It's very suspicious.  However, there are many things that happened in life that appeared fishy, yet they turned out to be just accidents.

Nobody wanted Diana to die.  She just couldn't possibly die.  There must be someone (other than God) involved in her death.  SHE JUST COULDN'T LEAVE US LIKE THIS!!
