  1. First... you could learn to spell.

    Second... Tums.

  2. Tums.  It also gives the baby extra calcium.  Heartburn happens because everything is being pushed up by the baby and the uterus.  I chew 2 at night and have no problems at all, all night long.  Unless you consider this "medicine", then you are out of luck and can't complain and will just have to accept this as "part of the process". But Tums will give you immediate relief.

  3. First of all, there IS a link between heartburn and hair. Check it out:

I had HORRIBLE heartburn thoughout my pregnancy (and had a hairy-headed baby), and am against meds too, so I know where you're/she's coming from.  I had to break down and eat Tums, though.  It was SO worth it, and I just told myself at least I was getting calcium from them too.

Other than that, tell her that if she's taking iron, and taking it at night, that could be part of the problem.   Also, my nurse told me that drinking too much water in one sitting could cause it.

That being said, there's the general tips: don't eat or drink within a few hours of bedtime, sleep propped up, etc.  None of those worked for me, though, so I think it just depends on the person.  Seriously... tums was the only thing that saved me.

  4. Milk works, and so does pineapple juice. So do Tums. Tums are just calcium. They're actually beneficial.

She can also take Pepcid if it's really bad without hurting the baby. Sometimes Tums don't always do the trick.

  5. Tums is fairly harmless (it is, after all, a calcium supplement and not a "medication") though she will need to talk to her Dr. before taking anything.  A glass of cold milk can really offer some relief too.

She gets heartburn because with the uterus being so big right now, her esophagus can't close completely between her stomach and throat.  So anything acidic she eats can just work it's way right back up.  It's completely normal.

  6. Sleep sitting up. It can be uncomfortable.

    OR..

put something under the headboard to give it height so she is sleeping at a slant.

  7. get a ****** life man why you on her talking about your girl or whatever she is that mess up and yeah your son have hair ok so what and thats why she do have heartburns mannnnn you need a help

  8. well it's not B.S. about the hair thing....

my son had a full head of hair....

and i had heartburn from the first trimester till the day i had him...

i ate about 2-8 tums eveyday!

i woulda lost my mind if i didn't have them...

so give them to your girlfriend and none of that B.S. about it hurting the baby....

my son was very health 8lb 8oz 22inches long...

and the doctor said he didn't expect such a big healthy baby to come out of a

    17 year old

    5"1 thin girl...

so tums is your only option...

i even ate some while i was in labor...

  9. rennies or milk

  10. cold milk works for me....some people swear by tums too.

(i loved the way u said " we're in our third trimester"...lol....thats sweet)
