Whats with all these crane accidents in NYC?

Absolutely bs. I hope a crane falls on ALL these effin construction workers and their families and the building executives' heads. Let THEM have family members die or get hurt from these accidents - then they will get what's coming to them. They should all burn in h**l. Total greed total total greed. They will pay

It's not really the construction workers fault. It's the city inspectors!! They take short cuts, sign off on inspections that never happened, all because of greed! Then they can say they inspected them and go home early. Unfortunately it's the innocent residents of these buildings and the construction workers that die while they are at home all snug in their beds!!! That first crane accident should have taught them all a lesson, but evidently it did not. I think whoever was in charge of inspecting that crane should be arrested for manslaughter. The first guy got in trouble, I'm not sure to what extent but it obviously didn't make an impression on the rest of those lazy a**holes!

the inspectors are only partly to blame. In most cases they are inspecting something they don't have a clue as to how it works. The building inspectors i believe were the ones in charge of the n.y.c. inspections. they can only see the obvious problems. the rest must be caught during the yearlies or during mobilization of the machine!

Something needs to be done quick because it was the second deadly crane accident in 2 1/2 months in the city............
