Whats with rubbish pick up?

Question

the rubbish was usually picked up on thursday, then it went to friday after a bank holiday, today it was picked up monday , whats the deal?

right yahoo wanted to put this in Family & Relationships > Singles & Dating, i mean rubbish as in bin men that collects your trash -usa defn.

We get the same thing here in the States. Most times it's not annoying because most of us have garbage disposals which eliminates the rancid food smell. However if a family relationship has gone sour or your date was too much to bear,putting the bodies in the bin is not only awkward, it brings attention from the neighbors.Jack the Ripper solved this problem by providing food for his neighbors. LEG of lamb, KIDNEY pie, EYE of round, LIVER and onions, FINGER food, ELBOW macaroni.Hence Yahoo's suggestion it be placed in Family & Relationships< Singles & Dating. Did I mention boiled BELLY?

This happens around Bank Holiday times where we live, binmen don't work bank holidays which is fair enough so the schedule has to be juggled around a bit. Otherwise people whose bin day is normally Monday would get annoyed that every few weeks their bins were just ignored.

We usually get a note through the door telling us that our collection is going to be on a different day.
